Make Your Own Vegan Catsup
14 ounces plain tomato paste (organic if you can)
1/3 cup REAL maple syrup (any grade – may substitute equal with equal amount of RAW honey)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons onion powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
pinch of allspice
Combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-low heat (no higher), whisk whisking frequently. Immediately reduce heat and simmer until mixture is reduced to the consistency you desire. Store in a tightly sealed container (mason jars are perfect) in the fridge. Will keep fresh for 10-14 days in the fridge.
