Holiday Pumpkin Banana Smoothie

 

Holiday Pumpkin Banana Smoothie

1 cup vanilla yogurt (regular or non-dairy)

3/4 cup pumpkin puree (well chilled)

1 large, ripe banana (sliced and frozen)

1/3 cup orange juice

1 tablespoon packed brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

pinch of ground cloves

1/3 cup crushed or cubed ice

Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth, about 30-60 seconds. Pour into 2 small glasses and serve. Makes 2 servings, approximately 1 cup each. *You can also serve with an optional sprinkle of ground cinnamon on top.
