Holiday Chocolate Cake Martini

1-1/2 ounces Frangelico

1-1/2 ounces vodka

ice

1/8 cup raw sugar

 

Pour the sugar onto a flat plate. Wet the rim of the martini glass and then dip it into the sugar. Combine the Frangelico and vodka in a cocktail shaker with ice. Gently shake the mixture for about 30 seconds and then strain into the center of the sugar rimmed martini glass. Good optional garnish would be marachino cherries, an orange twist or fresh cranberries.
