Fruit and Nut Quinoa Breakfast Bowl


Fruit and Nuts Quinoa Breakfast Bowl 

1 cup non-dairy milk

1 cup water

1 cup quinoa

2 cups blackberries

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup chopped pecans

4 tsps raw agave nectar

Combine milk, water  quinoa in a saucepan and bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover & simmer for 15 minutes, until most of the liquid is absorbed. Turn off heat and let stand covered 5 minutes. Stir in blackberries & cinnamon, transfer mixture into 4 bowls and evenly sprinkle with the chopped pecans. Lastly, drizzle 1 tsp of agave nectar over each bowl and serve. Makes 4 servings
