Frozen Spiced Chocolate Pops
* You will need an 8 count ice pop mold and 8 popsicle sticks.
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate (finely grated)
2 Tablespoons packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 cups half-and-half (you may substitute with equal amount coconut cream)
Whisk together the grated chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl.
Bring the half-and-half (or coconut cream) to a low simmer over medium-low heat.
Slowly pour in the heated half-and-half into the bowl with the whisked ingredients, and whisk to combine as the chocolate starts to melt. Continue whisking until chocolate is fully melted and all ingredients are well blended. Evenly pour the chocolate mixture into 8 ice pop molds (about 1/3 cup each) and insert sticks in the middle. Freeze overnight, or for a minimum of 6-8 hours.
Makes 8 frozen spiced chocolate pops.
