Easy Crock Pot Apple Cider
10 large apples, any variety (cored and cut into small slices or dices or chunks)
4 cups filtered water (divided)
1 large cinnamon stick
Place all of the sliced apple pieces along with 2 cups of the water into a large sized crock pot and cook on LOW for 7 hours.
Using a slotting spoon, strain out all of the non-liquified apple pieces. Add in the remaining 2 cups of water along with the cinnamon stick, and cook for an additional 2 hours on LOW.
Serve warm or cold, and refrigerate leftovers.
