Apple, Nut Butter and Oatmeal Smoothie
1/2 cup plain non-dairy milk (nut milk or oat milk are best, but you can use any variety of non-dairy milk)
1/2 of a large apple (peeled, seeded and chopped)
1 tablespoon natural peanut butter (you can use any nut butter you like)
1/3 cup quick-cooking oats
Combine all ingredients in a blender, along with 3-4 ice cubes, and puree until smooth. Pour into a serving glass and sprinkle with an optional garnish of ground cinnamon. Makes 1 serving.
