Far too many people search for anti aging skin and beauty remedies via commercially produced products that are loaded with chemicals and ingredients that are incredibly toxic to your skin and body. Our skin is the largest organ in our body, a living, breathing organ, I may add. Anything that you put on your skin, you are thereby forcing your body to “consume”.

Lotions and potions with petroleum by-products and other chemicals are literally “eaten” by your body every time you use them. Knowing that, doesn’t it make sense that if you wouldn’t eat something with your mouth, don’t put it on your body and force your body to “eat” it via your skin. If you don’t believe this to be true, just ask the medical community why using hormones, pain and other medications via skin patches is a preferred method of entry.

So, now that you know how important it is to “feed” your skin only products and ingredients you would consume, let’s take a look at 5 common anti aging skin and beauty conditions, along with their corresponding natural anti aging remedies.

milk almonds and honey for wrinkles 1

Wrinkle Remedy – You’ll need 1 cup full fat non-dairy milk, 5-7 RAW almonds and 2 tablespoons RAW honey (do not use commercially processed honey). Soak the almonds in the non-dairy milk overnight, or for at least 8 hours, in the fridge. Strain out the almonds and grind them in a blender, bullet blender or food processor until the mixture resembles sand or flour. Pulse the almonds while drizzling in some of the milk the almonds were soaking in, to make a paste consistency. Transfer into a bowl and stir in the raw honey. Apply to freshly cleansed face and let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing off with cool water.

Strawberries and baking soda for teeth whitening

 

Teeth Whitening Remedy – You’ll need 1 ripe strawberry and 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Mash the strawberry with a fork and stir in the baking soda to make a paste. Rub on to freshly brushed teeth and let sit for 5-7 minutes before rinsing with cool water.

Coffee grounds and oil for cellulite

Cellulite Remedy – You’ll need 1/2 cup coffee grounds (caffeinated only) and 2 tablespoons olive oil OR coconut oil. Combine the 2 ingredients in a saucepan and heat SLIGHTLY over low heat. Standing in your bathtub or shower, smear the mixture over cellulite areas and use a natural skin brush to brush each area for several minutes. You may either rinse off mixture now, or for more intense effects, after skin brushing wrap areas in plastic and let sit for 20-30 minutes.

White tea and apple cider vinegar for acne and scars

Acne and Scar Remedy – If using this remedy for scars, make sure area is FULLY healed first. You’ll need 1/4 cup freshly brewed HOT white tea and 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (do not use any other type of vinegar). Pour the hot white tea in a bowl together with the apple cider vinegar. When cool enough to handle, apply with a cotton ball to freshly washed affected areas and let air dry. You may rinse with cool water after 30 minutes. You can make this in large batches and keep stored in a glass jar in the fridge.

Mashed grapes for crows feet

 

Crows Feet Remedy – You’ll need a handful of fresh grapes, either green or red will work. Mash up the grapes until you extract their natural juice. Apply to freshly washed affected areas and let sit for 20-30 minutes before rinsing with cool water.

Apple cider vinegar and onion juice for age spots

Age Spot Remedy – You’ll need 1 whole white onion and apple cider vinegar. Very finely mince the onion and press it through a cheesecloth to extract the juice. Next, whisk in the apple cider vinegar in an amount that is equal to the extracted onion juice. Apple to age spots using a cotton ball and allow mixture to air dry without rinsing. Applied daily, you should start to see results within 4-6 weeks.
